​Perfect for a backyard family dinner, these Grilled Fish Tacos made with Ontario feta cheese scream summertime. Delicate, flakey halibut, paired with the sweet and salty flavours of the mango feta salsa topped with a citrusy, lime blast is a combination that couldn’t be more perfect. The beautiful melody of flavours will take your taste buds on a tropical vacation that we're all longing for right about now.

Method

Step 1

Lime Crema

In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, lime zest, juice and salt. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.


Step 2

Mango Feta Salsa

In a bowl, stir together mango, shallot, pepper, cilantro, lime juice, feta and salt; set aside.


Step 3

Preheat grill to medium high heat and grease grill.


Step 4

In a small bowl, stir together chili powder, salt, garlic powder, thyme leaves, lime zest and cayenne. Brush fillets with butter and sprinkle all over with spice mixture.


Step 5

Place on prepared grill and grill for about 10 minutes or until fish flakes when tested with fork.


Step 6

Remove to plate and carefully break halibut into 12 pieces. Divide among tortillas and spoon salsa over top.


Step 7

Drizzle with crema to serve. Garnish with cilantro leaves if desired.
