Simple Pizza Dough
Add the water and sprinkle in the yeast to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook attachment and let it stand for 5 minutes to allow the yeast to activate.
Add the oil, salt and ½ cup flour. Turn the stand mixer on low speed and continue to add the flour in ½ cup increments, until dough comes together.
Knead for 5 to 8 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic. Transfer to a lightly greased bowl and cover with a damp towel. Let rise for 2 hours, until doubled in size.
Everything Bagel Pizza
Preheat the oven to 475°F degrees. Place a pizza stone on the middle rack.
Divide prepared pizza dough into two equal portions. On a lightly floured surface stretch out each piece of dough into roughly a thin 10-inch round.
Brush each pizza with olive oil and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning. Bake until golden and brown, about 8 to 10 minutes.
As the pizza bakes, prepare the sauce. In a small mixing bowl stir together the cream cheese, yogurt, garlic, salt and pepper until smooth.
Once the pizza has cooled slightly, use an offset spatula to spread an even layer of cream cheese over the crust.
Top with lox, capers, red onion and scallions. Slice and serve!
