Mickey McGuire’s Cheese

2 King Street W, Dundas

This small, artisanal cheese shop located in Dundas is a great place to find so many varieties of Ontario cheeses and dairy products. When visiting, you’ll find popular local producers including Mountain Oak, Upper Canada, and Fifth Town. It doesn’t stop there! They also carry accompaniments and locally handcrafted cheese boards to make it a one stop for all. Best yet? Stop in on Fridays for fresh cheese curds from Maple Dale!

Jax Sweet Shoppe

33 King Street W, Dundas

Cool down with Hewitt’s Dairy Ice Cream at Jax Sweet Shoppe! This cozy, retro style 50s diner is known for their breakfast, baked goods and over 15 flavours of Ice cream. Cotton candy is the favourite for the little ones but there’s something for all! Did you know you could have their Jax Ice cream truck at your next event?

The Udder Way

410 RR 20, Hannon

The Udder Way Artisan Cheese Company is family owned and operated and handcrafts certified A2 Guernsey and A2 Holstein milk cheeses in Stoney Creek. They are well known for their award-winning cheeses such as Krueger Blue and Caciocavallo. Even more, their gelatos are made with Guernsey milk too!. Flavours will rotate but if you are a chocolate lover, their Belgian Chocolate Bomb gelato is a must!

Good Earth Food and Wine Co.

4556 Lincoln Ave, Beamsville

It’s so worth a road trip out to Beamsville for The Good Earth Winery. Throughout the warmer months, their beautiful, dog friendly patio is surrounded by gardens and lovely wisteria vines. Highly recommend having a meal at the bistro! Their menu changes often but they always feature local cheeses like the delicious summer burrata with melon and chorizo paired with their Rose.

Upper Canada Cheese Company

4159 Jordan Road, Jordan Station

Known for their Niagara Gold and Comfort Cream cheeses, Upper Canada Cheese Company makes their cheese with fresh Guernsey milk from local Ontario farms. If it’s your first time visiting, their friendly staff will welcome you with a tour and help choose the perfect cheeses and pairings for you. They also offer cheesecakes made with Guernsey Ricotta. Stop by for their Niagara Gold Grilled cheese pop ups during the summer!
