Step 1
To make grits, in a medium sauce pot add water, grits and ½ cup Ontario heavy cream and stir constantly over medium high heat. When it’s almost done cooking, add Ontario butter, and shredded Ontario heritage cheddar.
Step 2
In a frying pan, add Ontario butter & garlic. Once garlic becomes fragrant add in shrimp and creole spice. Saute until shrimp becomes slightly pink and finish with ¼ cup Ontario heavy cream, salt and lemon juice.
Step 3
In a serving bowl, add grits, creole shrimp, top with pan drippings, garnish with chopped parsley and lemon juice and serve.
