If you’re stumped on what to serve up for your next backyard get together, look no further! Beloved contributor Marcella DiLonardo developed this beautiful Creamy Frosé recipe made with delicious Ontario whole milk and fresh strawberries to help you stay cool this summer and delight your guests!
Marcella says “Thinking back to my childhood summers of endless popsicles and slushies, this adult twist on a nostalgic summer treat will keep you cool all summer long! Increasingly becoming popular at Ontario wineries, you can make your own in a few simple steps. Just be sure to place the ice cream bowl in the freezer the night before (or according to manufacturer directions).”
This recipe uses Henry of Pelham’s rosé which features an intense fruity character with a dry finish.
Step 1
To a blender add the strawberries, milk, lemon juice, sugar, water and rose. Puree until smooth.
