Owner and operator Melissa Strecker leads the Farmers Daughter Sub Shoppe with the same values as she learnt on the farm - to be hardworking, honest, dedicated, and reliable. After a hard day's work growing up on a Turkey farm in rural Niagara alongside her father, the two always managed to work up an appetite. This inspired a love for fresh, hearty foods that are made with their same local mindset. With each signature sub paying homage to her childhood on the farm, they’re topped with local produce, meats, and Empire Cheese. Try their specialty sub, 1820, a tribute to her favourite tractor - topped with AAA wood-fired beef and caramelized onion cheese.

Burger revolution was built with the sole intention of winning the fight against the bland burger! Started by Jeff and Rayling Camacho, the idea was saying goodbye to the frozen burger and incorporating only the highest quality, freshest ingredients. Whether it’s their signature to their variety of sides, everything from Burger Revolution is local. Try their poutines made with Wilton Cheese curds or their classic Enright Cattle beef burgers with any of their Empire cheese’s. Catch them at their Belleville or Trenton location or popped up around the BoQ in the food truck!

Through partnerships with other local farmers and makers, Grills became one of the region's first local markets. Originally known as the Zion Cheese Company, Maple Dale Cheese Co. has been churning since 1888 when a group of local dairy farmers laid the foundation. Since then, no tradition has been lost, whether it be the techniques in which they make, their commitment to the freshest ingredients or their farmstead nature. Some of their best cheeses come from their Aged Collection, where you can find cheddars as old as 9 years - but their line up also features delectable mild and flavoured cheddars, as well as specialty cheeses including Colby, Swiss and mozzarella.
