Made using 100% local products, The County Picnic aims to give guests the opportunity to experience the best the county has to offer! From makers like Fifth Town Artisan Cheese, Black River Cheese and Lighthall Vineyards, their grazing platters incorporate delicious local and seasonally appropriate ingredients, including artisanal cheeses, cured meats, dips, crackers and produce. All boxes are available for delivery within the county, but the best experience comes from the VIPicnics - a personalized picnic with you and your favourite company in the most beautiful places in PEC. Andrea and her crew will set up the perfect afternoon wherever you want, or even go the extra mile with a perfectly curated day tour hitting up the best local spots from vineyards to orchards to sights.

From Dutch heritage, ‘Smith’ translates to ‘Artisan’, making the wonderful Smith’s over at Flame + Smith masters of their trade - including chefs, bakers, oyster shuckers, sommeliers and servers. As one of PEC's favourite sustainably minded restaurateurs, Flame + Smith not only embraces local sourcing, but also the art of woodfire cooking. Some of their best dishes include their locally made burrata, chicken liver mousse + pork crackling, Banoffee pie, and wood-fired Belgian endive all made using 100% Ontario milk, cheese, butter, and cream!

As one of the only two cheesemakers in the county, Fifth Town aims to combine traditional cheesemaking methods with artisanal craftsmanship to create contemporary tastes. Every drop of milk comes from local Ontario dairies to create the richest, most sustainable product possible. Their environmental and socially responsible practices extend well past their sourcing, as their entire processing plant is Canada’s only LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified dairy.
